Indu Mirani’s show ‘Bollywood Scene Stealers’ on Indus Vox Media is definitely bringing out some unheard conversations from our favourite character actors from Bollywood. From Ranvir Shorey and Satish Kaushik, they now have the talented Vicky Kaushal as the next guest.
It might seem unbelievable but Vicky Kaushal did not own a suit till they went for Cannes Film Festival. Producer Anurag Kashyap, who called him to inform him of the good news, asked him to purchase one which he can wear at the festival.
He shares the conversation -
“I remember I got a call from Anurag Sir and he said ‘Tere pass suit hai?’
I said ‘Nahin, banwaloonga. Kyun Kya hua?’
sans-serif; font-size: small; margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt; text-align: justify;">He said ‘Cannes jana hai, suit banwa le.’
And that’s not it, while in conversation, we also found out that the entire cast of Masaan had not even seen the film once till they went to the Cannes Film Festival!
Vicky added - “Why Cannes was all the more special was because none of us, the cast, had seen the film. None of the actors were allowed on the edit table and whatever little we had seen was during dubbing. So when we went there, it was our first time at Cannes Film Festival. When we saw the show for the first time, we were all moved to tears. We genuinely felt like we are part of something special.”
