RAKHEE VASWANI CELEBRATES WORLD MILK DAY WITH CHILDREN FROM NGO

Palate Culinary Academy has set out on a mission to bring a smile on the faces of children from an NGO on World Milk Day! Celebrity chef Rakhee Vaswani visited Anjuman-I-Islam NGO and distributed flavored milk and scrumptious chocolate chip cookies to the kids on 1^st June, 2017 which is celebrated as World Milk Day.

The day was initiated by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization in 2001 in order to encourage common social public about milk and dairy products consumption as their daily diet.

The culinary expert also explained to the children the importance of milk as a global food. The activity posed as a perfect platform to spread the word and celebrate all aspects of milk.

white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px; text-align: justify;">Immensely dedicated and talented students from Rakhee Vaswani’s international academy’s Patisserie course baked chocolate chip cookies that went perfectly well with milk for the little ones, giving them an experience they would devour for life. The kids were overjoyed as they relished the cookie and milk combination and could not stop beaming with glee.

Talking about the initiative for the World Milk Day, Chef Rakhee says, “My interaction with the kids has helped me understand, absorb and receive a new perspective. In the process, I have also learnt that when you encourage curiosity, awareness and participation in children, they can actually change realities and brighten the future. They taught me that the smallest gestures make the biggest difference. Infact the smile on their faces while receiving the milk & cookies was priceless!”

This activity helped bring immense joy to the children and educated them about the importance of Milk in all facets of their life.

Indeed, Chef Rakhee and her team had a heart-warming session while pampering the palates of all the cheerful kids from Anjuman-I-Islam NGO on this year’s World Milk Day!
